While Draya Michele has opted out of returning to Basketball Wives LA, we now know if her friendship with the friend she brought on the show Angel Brinks (who is still there this season) was able to last.

And it looks like it is still going strong.

Even though Draya didn’t make an appearance on the show during Brinks’s anniversary party for her clothing line that aired recently, she was definitely there.

Brinks posted a video of Draya at the event back when it happened. It has resurfaced now that the episode aired and it shows Draya giving Brinks a huge hug and telling her, “I’m proud of you!”

The two also snapped a few photos together.

Brinks also wrote, “Words can’t express my gratitude for you @drayamichele thank you for everything you have done for me. Thank you for your guidance even when I was set in my ways. Best of all, you understand me & that’s what friendship is. Love you for life.”

 
Brinks confirmed with VH1 that all is well between her and Draya just before the new season started last month. She revealed that she made sure Draya was okay with her return to the show considering Draya left on heated terms with the ladies.

“Draya and I are still the same, we still get together with the kids,” she added. “We get together at barbecues, we shop together, we go eat together. Nothing has changed, if anything, we’ve gotten closer. She wasn’t all the way Gung-ho about me returning to the show, but it wasn’t a problem. She said if you’re going to go around them then just be you and stick to your ground. And that’s what I did.”
