Laura Gilbert has lost a huge battle against her ex-fiance Gilbert Arenas.

A judge has sided with the NBA star after she sued him and claimed that she was entitled to half of his fortune after they lived as “husband and wife.”

Stephanie Bowick, an LA Superior Court Judge, shut down Govan’s lawsuit recently. And apparently it was Govan’s fault as the judge pointed out Govan’s “lack of prosecution” as she failed to make appearancs in court hearings. She was MIA during one of the latest hearings on Aug. 29.

Her lawyer was also absent, which appears to have played a factor in Bowick’s decision against Govan.

She first filed the lawsuit under the “Marvin Action” last year “alleging he promised to equally share his assets, income and other investments with her that he made during their relationship,” according to court documents. Still, things went left during their ugly split in 2014.

“Govan said Arenas dumped her and reneged on the promise, kicking her out of their LA mansion and she said he took back [and] alter sold her $1 million engagement ring.”

Arenas’ lawyer, David Bass, clapped back and said the NBA baller never said he would support Govan’s lavish lifestyle if they called it quits. He also said that Govan voluntarily gave Arenas back the now infamous ring. They said that that is the reason Govan “stopped moving forward with the case” because “she realized she wouldn’t be able to prove her claims.”
