Why is Jennifer Aniston still being linked to her ex-husband, Brad Pitt?

Over a decade after the Friends actress filed for divorce amid rumors of an affair between Pitt and his now wife, Angelina Jolie, fans are wondering if history will repeat itself.

According to a report by Mobile 'N Apps on Monday, Aniston's recent ties to Pitt have been recently replaced by Pitt's potential romance with Marion Cotillard, his co-star in Allied.

"The 'World War Z' actor has been romantically linked to Cotillard since earlier this year while filming in London. However, there was no evidence that the two had taken their on-screen chemistry outside, and Jolie and their children were living in London with Pitt at the time," the outlet explained.

There's also been no physical evidence of Pitt's ongoing relationship with Aniston. Instead, there was a rumor shared by In Touch Weekly magazine in early July.

“It was their first moment in months without the kids or staff around,” a source told the magazine. “Angie thought a good one-on-one conversation would enable them to finally catch up on their lives. Then, Brad casually mentioned that he’d reached out to Jen to send his sympathy after her mom passed away in May. He didn’t think it was a big deal.”

“To Angie, it was akin to Brad dropping a nuclear bomb,” the source added. “She was furious they’d reunited.”
