Kourtney is the Pinterest Kardashian. She's an attentive mom, a clean eater and far more tame than any of her sisters. There's nothing wild about her, as there is with Kylie, nor is she as blunt as Khloe. She's far less "in-your-face" than Kim, just from the amount of nude selfies she posted (zero to this day).

The most badass thing about her, however, isn't how relatively low-key she comes off or her mature way of handling her relationship with Scott and prioritizing the kids first: It's the way she's banning a certain "F" word.

Earlier this season on Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kourtney chided Kris for using the word "fat" around Penelope. Her reasoning is simple: It can have a negative impact on Penelope's body-image, even when the word isn't targeted at her.

"There are so many conversations that we have without thinking the kids are listening," Kourtney told Cosmopolitan. "I just don't want to start getting anybody self-conscious."

She added: "They say if a mother is confident about her body that the daughters are way more likely to not have eating disorders. I'm fine about my body but I'll notice little things."

Kourtney has a point. Multiple studies have addressed the link between mothers who watch their weight and their relationship with their daughters. According to one poll, daughters of dieting mothers were almost twice as likely to develop an eating disorder. Penelope isn't too young to not notice what her mother says and eats, either: Girls as young as 5 can feel low self-worth because of their perception of their body.

Additionally, children like to parrot their parents. Penelope Disick is no exception.

"If I'm like, "Ugh, I hate this outfit! I'm changing!" My daughter will try on tons of outfits before she's happy," Kourtney told Cosmopolitan.

Brava, Kourtney!
