Fans definitely seem to be Team Lil Wayne when it comes to the idea of Toya Wright getting back with one of her exes: Lil Wayne or Mickey “Memphitz” Wright.

Toya and Memphitz have reached a settlement in their divorce and now Toya and Lil Wayne have sparked speculation via Instagram that they are getting back together. And based on Twitter, fans are all for it.

One wrote, “Imagine Wayne gets Toya back lol no one can tell me love ain’t real…”


Another added, “If Wayne & Toya back together… Everybody it’s safe to take your Ex back…”

One pleaded, “Wayne & Toya pleaseeeeee get back together!!” as one fan tweeted, “If Wayne get Toya back ANYTHING is possible…”

Another fan said candidly, “Toya and Wayne meant for each other…” while one suggested, “but the gag is Wayne and Toya never ‘broke up.’”


Toya filed for divorce from Memphitz during his very public meltdown amid his drama with singer K. Michelle. It started when K. Michelle accused Memphitz of physically abusing her during their relationship years ago while she starred in the debut season of VH1’s Love & Hip Hop Atlanta back in 2012. Memphitz filed a lawsuit against K. Michelle and VH1’s parent company Viacom but lost. Toya has said that his drama definitely put a strain on their marriage.

Toya told XO Necole back in February 2015, “Mickey has been going through something for the last few years since the whole lawsuit thing against his ex [K. Michelle] and Viacom and it really took a toll on him and it caused him to be a different person. So, I think going through all of those things, and having all that stress and the world looking at you as a ‘woman beater’ and person that steals someone’s money, it’s hard for you to get back into your industry…”
