Lira Galore, the ex-fiance of rapper Rick Ross, has a message for her critics after she made an appearance on OWN’s Iyanla Vanzant: Fix My Life over the weekend.

Galore took to Instagram to defend her cameo on the show where she took part in Vanzant’s House of Hope for troubled women.

“I chose to do this show for my women followers,” Galore wrote after the episode aired Saturday night. “It’s easy to see public relationships or lifestyles on Instagram and forget we are all human. We are all naïve at times. I’ve learned you have to stay focused on your goals, and the love you build for yourself will always be remain solid. Outside that, you have to trust your worth as a person and as a woman.”

She ended with the hash tag, “galoregirls”

In the episode, Galore opened up about her past relationship with the famous rapper. She said her biggest issue was being too nice.

“…Listening to anything I was being told.”

She said she “ignored” her “intuition as a woman.”

Interestingly enough, Galore has said that she and Rick split after past with Meek Mill was revealed on social media. Meek is signed to Rick’s label. Galore said an old photo of her and Meek making it rounds on the Internet put a strain in their relationship and ultimately caused the rapper to end things.

“Everybody just kept posting it and I felt like as a man, he just couldn’t handle it when it was nothing,” she told Global Grind back in January.

No word on what Rick thinks about Galore’s appearance.
