Nicki Minaj slammed Mariah Carey on Twitter a day after quarreling with the award-winning singer during the American Idol Top 4 live show on Wednesday night.

The judges disagreed over contestant Angie Miller's performance of Someone to Watch Over Me.

After Minaj compared Miller's interpretation of the song to that of a Disney princess, Carey said she didn’t think Miller should be ranked No. 1 out of the remaining contestants. Minaj quickly disagreed and the two judges had a moment of incomprehensible yelling until the show’s producers put music on to drown them out.

The show’s host, Ryan Seacrest, ended the bickering when he told them: "somebody's gotta go in the corner, we gotta get this show going, ok, girls?"

During the quarrel, Minaj pulled out a cotton swab and told Carey to "clean (your) ears." The comment was made after Carey said the High School singer failed to land on Billboard's Hot 100 chart.

Minaj took their feud to Twitter on Thursday, writing, “Bwaha! Burn? Shes sad i tied her record for Hot 100 entries in only 3 years of being in the game. Yep, a black female rapper.”

The Queens-bred rapper then threw jabs at gossip blogger Perez Hilton: "What u SHOULD be doing (wit your messy ass) is asking why a woman SO successful at her age, is still so INSECURE, and bitter @perezhilton."

She followed them with a tweet about rumors of Jennifer Lopez being re-hiring as a judge on season 13 of AI.

"All dem #1s but JLo phone ringin? Lol. I guess having a personality, being a secure woman, and giving genuine critique still trumps that,” she tweeted.
