While the season 3 finale of AMC's The Walking Dead appeased many of its loyalists, it still managed to disappoint a slew others with the death of one of its most beloved characters in Andrea (Laurie Holden).

While Andrea sadly met her demise at the hands of the walker version of Milton (Dallas Roberts), Horror-Movies reported that rumors are floating around that she'll indeed be back for Walking Dead's fourth installment in the fall.

Holden had spoken to TV Line on March 31 regarding her feelings on the death of Andrea.

"It's not up to me, you know? I'm the actor. I do what I'm told. The writers are the ones in charge of the storylines. And they write the scenes. Woulda, shoulda, coulda. Do I wish we could've seen and explored more of the comic-book-Robert-Kirkman Andrea. Yes. Absolutely."

Holden also added that while she did prefer to do more scenes that showed her character's early friendship Michonne (Danai Gurira), she was satisfied with the way Andrea ultimately bit the dust.

"Do I wish that I had more scenes with Michonne showing that friendship? Yes. Absolutely. But at the end of the day, I don't think I could ask for a better death. I feel like her life mattered, and she died trying, and her heart was in the right place. I feel grateful for that. You can't have it all."

While the latest chatter is nothing more than speculation at this point, it's likely that Andrea would be back in some sort of a flashback capacity.

The Walking Dead will be making its season 4 return on Sunday, October 14 at 9/8c on the AMC network.
