Time to unleash your inner gddesses.

As promised, the new Fifty Shades Darker trailer dropped this morning. We were #blessed with the teaser trailer yesterday, but the full length trailer is certainly something to get worked up about.

Look, total transparency: I loved the Fifty Shades books. Sure, the writing sucks, but the plot was great. Despite the incorrect portrayals of the BDSM community and the obvious disconnect with the real world (how can Anastasia be a modern-day college student without a laptop and a decent phone?!) they were pretty spot-on with what I was in the mood to read (trashy beach read with a hot rich dude.)

The first movie, however, was a different story. I saw it twice, with two different groups of friends -- one that read and enjoyed the books, one that didn't. The writing was weird, Jamie Dornan made a odd Christian and Dakota Johnson just seemed so uncomfortable.

Whatever the issues were with the first 50 Shades, the second seems to have been fixed. Hard to tell if the writing is better, but Dakota and Jamie seem far more settled into their roles. Jamie looks far less confused, and Dakota seems more polished and refined. Maybe it's a new haircut, but there's definitely something about the new Ana.

Check out the trailer and see for yourself.
