The rumors are still flying in regards to who will start in The Crow remake.

The latest addition to the list is True Blood's Alexander Skarsgard, report's Deadline.

Skarsgard was reportedly slated to star in David Yates overhaul of Tarzan. However, that movie is seemingly dead in the water, at least for the time being. This frees up the True Blood actor with the time to possibly star in director's F. Javier Gutierrez Crow reboot.

However, MTV reports that Skarsgard has no attachments to the film, at least not yet.

"No, I'm not attached to anything right now after True Blood," the 36-year-old Seed told MTV at a junket for his upcoming film What Maisie Knew.

The Avengers villain Tom Hiddleston however seems to be under heavy consideration for the role. According to Access Hollywood, the mild mannered Brit has reportedly dinned with the producers and is getting ready to do a makeup test.

If not Hiddleston, who else could it be? At one point Bradley Cooper (Silver Linings Playbook) was in the running, but MTV reports he has long since left the competition. Also up for consideration was fellow Brit James McAvoy (X-Men: First Class), but Hiddleston seems to have the strongest claim so far.
