Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx are reportedly dating in secret and now, a rumor has surfaced claiming the pair may be ready to tie the knot after becoming engaged.

According to a new report from OK! Magazine, Holmes and Foxx are planning to get married after receiving the blessing of Holmes' ex-husband, Tom Cruise, who starred alongside Foxx in the 2004 thriller Collateral.

As the report revealed, via Hollywood Life, Foxx was sick of waiting patiently for his plans to marry Holmes to be put into action and decided to confront Cruise, who reportedly put a “no-romance clause” in their divore agreement. As the outlet revealed, the clause allegedly kept Holmes from dating publicly since her 2012 split from Cruise.

“Jamie called Tom and told him that he loved Katie, and that he thought that being in a stable family would be best for Suri too,” the insider revealed. “Tom, despite initial reservations, agreed not to stand in the couple’s way. After the man-to-man conversation, even Tom could see how serious Jamie and Katie are.”

“He and Tom had been friends for years, and they stayed civil even after Jamie started seeing Katie,” the insider added.

Holmes and Foxx have been linked for the past few years but have yet to confirm news of their romance. Instead, they've continued to deny their relationship, despite damning evidence against them in the form of photos and videos.
