Lindsay Lohan started her 90-day rehab stay in a California treatment center Thursday, but left less than an hour later because "she was not happy with the place," according to her father.

The 26-year-old was scheduled to stay at Morningside Recovery in Newport Beach as an alternative to a three-month jail term for two misdemeanor convictions and a probation violation court ruling in March. However, Michael Lohan said he and his daughter were not happy to find out that Morningside does not provide alcohol and drug rehab treatments, since California officials revoked its license.

None of Morningside's several locations in California are licensed and the state's licensing agency is in litigation with the unlicensed Newport Beach location, said Millicent Tidwell, deputy director for the California Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs. The company previously had three licensesbut they were all revoked.

It is unclear whether Los Angeles Superior Judge James Dabney knew Morningside was unlicensed, but Michael said, "Lindsay had no idea that Morningside wasn't approved."

Santa Monica City Prosecutor Terry White confirmed Friday that the Scary Movie 5 actress is no longer at the facility and added, "Ms. Lohan is in violation of her probation, that much is clear."

Hours before leaving for rehab, Lohan posted a photo on Instagram account showing her New York City apartment strewn with piles of clothes as she packed for her stay in California. She uploaded the photo Wednesday with the caption "90 days and 270 looks," according to Radar Online.

Rehab was part of Lohan's plea deal after she pleaded no contest in mid-March for lying to police and reckless driving. The charges stemmed from a June 2012 car crash in Santa Monica, Calif.
