When my mom gets on my nerves about marriage and popping out a couple of grandbabies, this is what I'll show her.

It started when Simon O'Kane, a 33-year-old from the UK, came home from work one day and complained about his long day to his wife, Leandra. After being sympathetic for a bit, Leandra accused him of "burning the candle at both ends." His knee-jerk reaction? Putting her up for sale on eBay.

Simon posted up an ad for a "used wife". He claims he's "had [his] fill" and that "there has to be someone more deserving of her" than him. Well, he got the not deserving her part right.

He then listed some of her "pros and cons", ranging from her "body and paint work in decent shape" and her skills in the kitchen. The cons? She makes noise which can't be silenced unless you buy "brand new, shiny parts of metal."

He then claimed to accept offers, though he was open to exchanging for a younger model.

What he didn't expect were the high bids. By the time eBay removed the listing, "selling" Leandra could've fetched £65,000.

While Leandra admitted to fuming about her husband and not being particularly thrilled that her coworkers found out, I'm kind of hoping she's secretly plotting for revenge.

Look, I get that this was all in good fun. No one was hurt (save for Leandra's pride) but seriously--how stupid do you have to be to pull a prank like this and still consider it funny?

I kind of wish Leandra was whisked off to someone else--someone that could treat her way better than this chump.
