Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton is setting up the room where her baby will sleep and the nursery at Nottingham Cottage in Kensington Palace will reportedly be nothing extravagant.

“They have a small nursery prepped, but it’s humble,” a source told Us Weekly. “Kate felt it wasn’t worth the money to go all-out."

The baby will sleep in Middleton’s room for the first few weeks after the birth, according to the source. The royal and her husband, Prince William, are also setting up a nursery in the 20-room apartment in Kensington Palace that they are planning to move into. The insider said the couple is setting up a nursery with "a more elaborate design" in their new home.

Middleton bought a $460 baby basket while she was out shopping with her mother, Carole Middleton, last week in the shop Blue Almond. Although it was reported that Carole will move in with her daughter, these have been deemed as false, according to Entertainmentwise. Reports have also claimed that the duchess will live with her parents at their mansion but according to insiders, this is also not true.

“There are no formal plans for her to move in with her mom in Bucklebury,” a source told the website.” But after Will’s paternity- currently expected to be two weeks- Kate will spend most of her time between London and Buckleberry."
