She may have wound up with Josh Chan (Vincent Rodriguez III) in the end after moving to West Covina, California for him, but Rebecca Bunch (Rachel Bloom) may find a happy ending in a different man's arms in season two of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.

According to TV Line, Scott Michael Foster, who is best known for his roles in Greek, Once Upon A Time and Chasing Life, has signed onto the cast for season 2 as a major recurring presence, with the possibility of a season three return if the show gets renewed again, and the character is reportedly slated to be another romantic interest for Rebecca.

The character, Nathaniel, is described as a lawyer from a prominent family which is technically from the San Gabriel Valley, but still a very different world, and when he collides with Rebecca and the people in her life, he will affect everyone's future.

Based on the character description, he will likely be introduced through a new case Rebecca takes on at Whitefeather and Associates, or he will join the staff there, and if he does prove to be a romantic interest for her, it means he would not only be competition for Josh, who hooked up with Rebecca after he and Valencia (Gabrielle Ruiz) broke up at his sister's wedding, but also Greg (Santino Fontana), who is in love with Rebecca but destroyed their relationship when he got drunk at the wedding and didn't give Rebecca the romantic fantasy she had hoped for.

Of course, while Josh and Greg are the main romantic rivals for Rebecca's heart, they aren't the only men who have been a part of her life since she moved to West Covina. In season one, she almost hooked up with Jason from Tinder (Grant Rosenmeyer) to deal with her feelings for Josh, slept with Vegan Xander (Thor Knai), who she met while on her date with Greg at the Taco Festival, and briefly allowed her fake boyfriend Trent (Paul Welsh) to live in her house to prove she didn't make up their relationship to Valencia and Greg when they accused her of doing so.

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend returns with its second season on Friday, Oct. 21 at 9 p.m. on the CW.
