Since teen star Amanda Bynes colored her hair blonde and shaved one side bald, many fans have been comparing her new and improved look to Miley Cyrus' edgy appearance.

Both actresses have also recently gone topless in some way. 

In a recent spread for V Magazine, Cyrus' chest is almost hanging out of a black top that says "Miley," which is worn with a jacket and pants by Saint Laurent. She also flaunted peaks of her butt in skimpy shorts as she flashed her bare back to the camera while looking over her shoulder. See photos of Cyrus here from the V shoot here.

Although Bynes has not been appearing naked in any editorial spreads lately, she gave fans a peak at her breasts on Twitter this week.

"Rawr!" the 27-year-old captioned a photo, in which she covers her nipples with her forearms. In a second photo Bynes is pictured siting on her bathroom sink with her blonde hair covering her up. "Long hair don't care," she wrote.

Bynes spoke to InTouch recently and said she has no idea of why people think her behavior is inappropriate.

"Every time I've heard it, it came from an ugly person's mouth, so I don't care," she said. "The only ones lying about me having a mental illness are people I don't talk to," she said.

The actress said she has friends who are very supportive of her decisions. She added, "I only have hot friends" and "they have my back until I die."

Cyrus, who is making headlines with her engagement to Liam Hemsworth, recently admitted that sex does sell in the media and that there are many ways to be sexy without showing off ones private parts.

"Sex does sell, but you have to find a way that's not just showing your...," she told Elle UK's June 2013 issue. "I don't want to be a glorified model. They just walk on stage and it's all about their clothes -- or lack of clothes."
