They were both targeted after Orpheus (George Del Hoyo) interrupted Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Theresa's (Jen Lilley) wedding and managed to escape with John (Drake Hogestyn) only suffering from a bullet wound after he was grazed on the arm, and now, he and Paul (Christopher Sean) will do everything within their power to track down the escaped convicts threatening everyone's safety in Salem on Days of Our Lives.

Orpheus wants to get revenge on John and Marlena (Deirdre Hall) for what transpired between them so many decades before, and he will stop at nothing to get it. After learning Paul was John's son at the wedding, he too became a target for the escaped criminal. And now that he, Clyde (James Read) and Xander (Paul Telfer) have decided to band together as they plot their revenge on Salem, he will be even more of a dangerous threat to everyone in town.

Knowing they need to stop him and the others before they hurt, or worse, kill, their loved ones and everyone else in town who gets in their way, Paul and John will become determined to try and pick up the trail that could lead them to the convicts, and hopefully put an end to the terror they are about to try and reign on Salem. But if the trail runs cold, things could quickly start turning more dark and horrifying than they did even when Ben was strangling and killing people one year ago.

The biggest targets besides John and Marlena are Steve (Stephen Nichols), Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) and Joe (James Lastovic), Brady, Theresa, Nicole (Arianne Zucker), Tate, Kate (Lauren Koslow), Chad (Billy Flynn) and Thomas. And with so many lives potentially in danger, and three criminals all eager to make the people they feel did them wrong pay, a lot of destruction is set to unfold in the small town.

Days of Our Lives airs Monday-Friday at 1 p.m. on NBC.
