While many didn’t necessarily have hope in the future of Rob & Chyna on E!, it looks like enough people have been tuning in so far to make the Keeping Up With The Kardashians spinoff a hit.

The network released a press that reads:

“E!’s new docu-series ‘Rob & Chyna’ which follows the lives of Rob Kardashian and his fiancee Blac Chyna, delivered 2.7M Total Viewers, 1.9M Adults 18-49, 1.2M Adults 18-34, 1.4M Women 18-49 and 1.0M Women 18-34 in its series premiere Sunday, September 11 at 9pm in L3s.”

The show also made history for the network.

The release adds, “ The series premiere ranks as cable’s most watched unscripted launch of the year among Adults 18-34, Women 18-34 and Women 18-49, marking the second year in a row that E! has delivered cable’s biggest unscripted series debut (“I Am Cait in 2015).”

Still, while the success of I Am Cait was used as a reference, the show was not a big enough hit and was cancelled earlier this year.

But it looks like there is definitely still hope for Kardashian and Chyna.

It is currently ranked in the top ten when it comes to series that the network as premiered in the past.

Plus, “Socially, ‘Rob & Chyna’ was the #1 most Tweeted (non-sports) TV series on Sunday, and boosted the Kardashians’ cross-channel social engagement to 2.1M over three days following the premiere.”
