Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie tied the knot in 2014 and remained married for just over two years.

During their relationship, Pitt and Jolie, who fell in love on the set of 2005's Mr. & Mrs. Smith, welcomed six children together, including three adopted children, Maddox, 14, Pax, 12, and Zahara, 11, and three biological children, Shiloh, 10, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 8, and tied the knot with their family by their side at their home in France.

Pitt and Jolie felt it was important that each of their children played a role in their Aug. 23, 2014 ceremony.

“It was important to us that the day was relaxed and full of laughter,” Pitt and Jolie told Hello! magazine at the time, via Us Weekly. “It was such a special day to share with our children and a very happy time for our family.”

Although Jolie and Pitt certainly had their hands full as they raised six children, Pitt gushed over his role as a father last year.

“I never knew how much I could love something until I looked in the faces of my children,” Pitt told the Telegraph. “[There’s] a lot of love, a lot of fighting, a lot of refereeing, a lot of teeth-brushing and spilling.”
