Luis Ortiz shocked Million Dollar Listing: New York fans earlier this year when he revealed he was leaving real estate, but is he really done with the industry?

During Wednesday night's episode of Watch What Happens Live, Ortiz's co-star, Ryan Serhant, addressed the news of Ortiz's retirement and revealed he was not joking when he said he was done.

It "is 100 percent for real," Serhant explained to Andy Cohen.

On the show, Ortiz said he left real estate in order to maintain his happiness, why Serhant believes he did.

"I think so," he said. "He's been traveling a lot. I follow him online. He seems like he has a really great life."

Ortiz first announced his retirement months ago on the season finale of Million Dollar Listing: New York. A short time later, he revealed how his co-stars, Ryan Serhant and Fredrik Eklund, felt about him leaving the business.

"I think they're not happy about it because I think we, as a trio, make such a good cast and I think the show is so successful because of the three of us together," Ortiz told Bravo's The Daily Dish. "I think they're bummed, but they're happy for me. Both of them are always going to have a special place in my heart. I give them both keys to two separate penthouses in my heart, south-facing [with] floor-to-ceiling windows. They'll always be a part of my life and I think as I actually go into an industry, I think we will now talk differently because we won't be rivals in real estate. We'll actually be happy to hear about each other's successes."
