Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have parted ways and as he remains at their Loz Feliz, Calif. home, Jolie has rented a new place in Malibu, Calif.

According to a new report, Jolie secretly rented a $95,000 home by the beach weeks before filing for divorce after two years of marriage.

"While Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's divorce seemed sudden, it appears Angelina had made her mind up long before any alleged incident between her husband and their children," the Daily Mail reported on Friday.

On Monday, Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt and requested she be given full physical custody of the children. In the days since, rumors have been swirling in regard to possible child abuse at the hands of Pitt.

In her filing, Jolie listed September 15 as the date she and Pitt separated, but according to the Daily Mail, Jolie organized a $95,000 a month home for her and her six children, Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 8, to live in weeks ago.

"The 41-year-old actress rented the ocean front home three weeks before the Oscar-nominated star filed for divorce in a Los Angeles' court on September 19," the outlet explained, adding that the 5-bedroom, 5-bathroom home is "4,409-square-feet and worth close to $12 million."

The home is located on the beach in a gated community, which is perfect for Jolie as she and her kids attempt to remain unseen as their divorce drama plays out in the press.
