A recent image beamed back by NASA's Curiosity Rover has managed to attract significant attention from UFO fans across the world. The image, taken from the landscape of Mars, shows what appears to be a crashed spacecraft.

In fact, looking at the alleged crashed spacecraft, many were quick to point out that the spacecraft carried most of the characteristics of a conventional flying saucer, complete with a dome and what appeared to be windows on its side.

The image was noticed by active UFO hunter Streetcap1, whose YouTube channel has featured dozens of UFO-related videos. reports Inquistr. According to the UFO hunter, the alleged spacecraft does not really fit in with the rest of the rocks around it, mainly because of its shape.

The UFO hunter also noted that the object, whether it was just a Martian rock or an actual alien spacecraft, was extremely massive. Considering its size compared to other objects in the picture, the speculated crashed UFO is almost gigantic.

"This looks a bit unusual. Doesn't really fit in with the surrounding rocks. It is at the summit of the mountain and very far off, so if it is a rock then it must be massive. Also, it looks like there are windows on it," the UFO hunter stated.

The image has caught the attention of prominent UFO personalities across the world. Scott Waring, a prolific UFO hunter who runs the popular blog UFO Sightings Daily, has stated that the image taken by Curiosity is indeed a crashed alien spacecraft, according to The Daily Star.

"The object looks to be made of the same material as the surroundings, and could be a flying disk that has landed, or it could be a building built there on purpose to get a better view," Waring said.

Unsurprisingly, the sighting has also attracted the attention of skeptics, show assert that the object in the photo is nothing but a curiously-shaped Martian rock.
