Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump are set to share the debate stage for the first time in this 2016 presidential election - and there are plenty of ways to watch it, including free live streaming.

The Democratic and Republican nominees will be squaring off for the first time on the debate stage Monday night. Clinton and Trump have been fiercely battling each other in speeches, attack ads and more these past few months, but this is America (and the world's) first opportunity to see their differences on stage face-to-face.

The first presidential debate begins at 9 p.m. ET and will be broadcast live on CBS, NBC, Fox, ABC, CSPAN, Fox News, CNN and MSNBC. But if you cannot watch the debate on a television and/or you don't have a cable subscription, you can still watch all the action on a live stream. CNN.com is providing a free live stream with no need for a cable login. Additionally, YouTube, Twitter and Facebook are all expected to have their own free live streams. Just search for links when the debate is set to begin.

NBC's Lester Holt is the moderator for the debate, which is taking place at Hofstra University in Hempstead, N.Y. It will run for about an hour-and-a-half, concluding at 10:30 p.m. ET.

Both Clinton and Trump are prepared for a fight at the upcoming debate.

"I understand it's a contact sport," Clinton said on The Steve Harvey Morning Show recently. "I am going to do my very best to communicate as clearly and as fearlessly as I can in the face of the insults and the attacks and the bullying and bigotry we've seen coming from my opponent," she said.

"If she treats me with respect, I will treat her with respect," Trump told Bill O'Reilly last week. "It really depends. People ask me that question, 'Oh you're going to go out there and do this and that.' I really don't know that. You're going to have to feel it out when you're out there."
