It appears that the only real battle that will take place as Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt head towards divorce court will be over their six children, according to the newest report.

TMZ claims that the pair did have an ironclad prenup which would divide up their assets pretty easily, but that there isn't anything specified about their children, which could mean that the custody battle will get ugly.

Sources close to the pair told the site that their estimated $400 million combined net worth will be easy to divide up, mainly through their properties that they own.

Pitt and Jolie have a total of 12 properties together, but seven belonged to Pitt before he and Jolie married and in some cases even began dating, while two were in Jolie's possession. Prior to marrying in 2014, they also took ownership of three individual properties together, including a vineyard in France, a mansion in New Orleans, and an apartment in New York City. It is unclear who shelled out more amounts for the properties individually, but the source didn't expect a battle to really ensue over the properties, as the prenup reportedly outlines the division of them somewhat clearly.

However, the couple will likely go to war about their kids, three of whom are adopted, and three which they conceived together. In her filing last week, Jolie specified that she did not want spousal support, but did ask for physical custody of the kids, only allowing Pitt visitation. However, he is expected to fight that and ask for joint physical custody instead.

Last week, news broke that the decision behind Jolie's asking for physical custody stemmed in part from an altercation during a family flight back from Europe the week before, where Pitt allegedly had an argument with her and had a physical situation with their eldest son, Maddox. An investigation into alleged child abuse was opened, but Pitt was not found to be guilty of such actions.

The pair has six children together, Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10 and Knox and Vivienne, both 8.
