By the end of "Fear The Walking Dead" Season 2, episode 12, Travis (Cliff Curtis) finally arrived at the Rosarito Beach Hotel where his partner Madison (Kim Dickens) is staying with the rest of the survivors. In episode 13 it was revealed that Travis was left behind by Chris (Lorenzo James Henrie) and the group that they were traveling with. This caused Travis to be traumatized after being separated from his son.

According to Inquisitr, Travis tried to remember the events that led him to be separated from his son. He remembered that he tried to convince his son to go with him instead of going with the group. Chris ignored his father's wishes and told him that it was necessary to stay with the group if he wanted to survive the apocalypse.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, showrunner Dave Erickson said Chris casting his father out is a way to protect him because he knows that the group could be dangerous for someone like Travis. With that, Travis decided to go back to the hotel and leave his son with the group and this causes him to feel so much guilt.

By the end of the episode, two members of the group Chris were travelling with, Brandon (Kelly Blatz) and Derek (Kenny Wormald) shows up at the gates of the hotel. These people were traveling by truck when Travis left them, but many are wondering why they did not show up earlier. Chris was not with them and the viewers are left wondering if Chris is still alive.

Meanwhile, in the next episode titled "Wrath," Nick (Frank Dillane) is facing a difficult decision between leaving again and staying with Luciana (Danay García). It may seem that Nick has messed up things in the community and it feels like he outlasted his welcome in La Colonia. In the trailer Nick can be seen packing his bags as he plans to run from the area.

"Fear The Walking Dead" Season 2, Episode 14 will air on AMC on Oct. 2.
