Chris Brown recently confirmed that his relationship with Rihanna is done, and reports have indicated that maybe Brown's ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran is the reason to blame for the break-up.

Brown turned 24 on May 5 and celebrated his birthday over the weekend. While Rihanna was in New York for her Diamonds World Tour, the Fine China singer was in Los Angeles partying with Tran. 

Enstars reported over the weekend that Tran attended Brown's birthday party at Emerson Theatre. She was photographed in a short black dress with a pair of white fringed open-toe boots. She edged up the look with a denim-spiked jacked and a red clutch bag.

In an interview with 2Day's The Kyle and Jackie Show on May 5, Brown informed fans that he is currently a single man. 

"I mean, at the end of the day, shawty doing her own thang, she on the road. It's always gonna be love. I'm a grown man, just gotta fast forward," Brown said. 

A source close to the couple said Brown's and Rihanna's busy schedules prevent them from spending time together.

"It's up and down sometimes, the s**t is even sideways. Everytime some s**t pops off between them, they blast that s**t all over social media, and they shouldn't," the source said. "But when they're far apart, that's how they act out towards each other when one of them doesn't get their own way. It's crazy as f**k, but it's how they get down."

Brown also revealed some of his additional birthday plans during his radio show interview, saying, "I'm 24, I'm going to be in Vegas, so I want to really see as many girls as possible."

Brown and Rihana broke up in 2009 after Brown assaulted her. Brown indicated that their most recent split may be for good.

''I can't really be focused on wife-ing somebody that young, and I'm young too. I just got to step forward and be the man and be the best Chris Brown I can be instead of worrying about whoever else is going to be in my side pocket," he said.
