Shortly after Beyoncé told Good Morning America that she “would like more children,” an insider said the singer is already two months pregnant.
A “quasi-official” source from Beyonce’s “team” said the 31-year-old mother-of-one is eight weeks pregnant and her growing baby bump is the real reason her United Kingdom publicist banning press from taking pictures of her last week.
"Only photos that do not show her stomach up close are released to the public," the insider explained to Media Takeout.
The insider said the Halo singer will announce her pregnancy at next month’s BET Awards, which will air on June 30.
Beyonce told Good Morning America on May 6 that she "would like more children," and that her daughter, 15-month-old Blue Ivy, "needs some company.” The singer added that she loved “being a big sister."
To the disappointment of the European press, Beyonce banned press photographers from taking pictures of her in concert. Her United Kingdom publicist said that her company, Parkwood Entertainment, will not be distributing press photo passes. Beyonce’s media team said they will instead distribute three to five pre-approved pictures after each concert that can be used for press.
The decision was made in attempt to prevent media from publishing unflattering pictures of her, according to reports. Beyonce was reportedly upset that less-than-flattering images of her were published on various websites following her performance at the Super Bowl 2013 halftime show in February, Her publicist immediately asked several media outlets to remove “unflattering” pictures from their websites.
