I remember my first kiss. I was 14, and at summer camp in rural Pennsylvania. On the last day of camp, we had a talent show, where we displayed something we practiced all summer. My "talent" (or lack thereof, let's get real) was a ~sexy~ chair dance to an Alicia Keys song along with my bunkmates. To be honest, I just really wanted to impress this blonde boy, Chris, who I was obsessed with. We were friends for weeks, but I had yet to make a move and it didn't seem like Chris was the type to make one himself.

So, naturally, I went for it. I "kissed" him -- AKA banged noses with him -- in front of my mom, her boyfriend and my uncle, who all drove down to watch me perform. Chris looked horrified, but gave me a hug and wished me luck. I have never been more pleased with myself. If only I knew that this would foreshadow the rest of my romantic life.

Anyway, all first kisses are different. Some are a crash of noses like mine, some go further than others and some are absolutely magical. They can also happen a little later for some than others, as is the case with Gigi Hadid.

In an interview with Dazed, Gigi revealed that she didn't get her first kiss until the age of "15 or 16."

"Everyone was younger than me," she insisted. "I was one of the last ones."

Aw, poor Gigi. But something tells me you turned out just fine.
