"How to Get Away with Murder" season 3, episode 2 will be revealing more secrets. But is the identity of the person who died in the fire one of these?

As per the synopsis released by ABC, "How to Get Away with Murder" season 3, episode 2 is entitled "There are Worse Things than Murder." The synopsis does not reveal much but mentioned the continuing battle between Annalise (Viola Davis) and the Middleton University Board.

The summary of the upcoming episode also disclosed that "secrets are exposed as the Keating 5 compete to take on the case of a battered woman accused of murdering her husband." In a viewer's perspective, the court room scenes are not exactly as gripping as the drama that unfolds outside.

However, in this particular synopsis, the phrase "secrets exposed" is more than enough to stir the theorizing minds of the fans. Luckily, the teaser for the second episode, posted on YouTube, tells more than the summary.

If the worldwide fans of this cult series from ABC are hoping to get answers as to the identity of the person who died in the fire, then they are in for an upset. The trailer for the episode openly mentions that it will not be revealed soon, unlike in the past two seasons where the murdered character is shown early. This is to be expected given the fact that the creators would like the viewers to think he or she is someone really close to Annalise.

What the show promises, though, is to tell who is not dead. Every episode, a character that is not dead will be revealed leaving you with fewer choices as the season progresses.

Aside from this, the teaser for the TV series shows Annalise talking with Bonnie (Liza Weil). The tough defense lawyer confessed that "I hate them. Every single one of their lying faces." Everyone knows by now who she is referring to, the Keating 5 no less. So, does this mean that Annalise may have been the one who caused the fire killing one of her students?

The clip also shows Frank (Charlie Weber) with a bruised face talking on the phone, possibly with Annalise, saying he didn't have a choice. By the look of remorse on his face, Frank may not be the bad guy fans know him to be after all. He may be on the run but there sure is someone bigger stirring the pot and causing all these mishaps to the characters of the show.

To find out what secrets are to be revealed, watch "How to Get Away with Murder" season 3, episode 2 on ABC on Sept. 29.
