"The Walking Dead" season 7 creates an extremely different Rick. With the team's leader broken and helpless, they will have to deal with rebuilding and, possibly, a new leadership.

After the mind blowing season finale, every fan cannot wait for "The Walking Dead" season 7 premiere. Many would even go through spoilers to find out which character or characters died in the hands of Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan).

However, as expected, when the synopsis is released, no clue whatsoever is found regarding the identity of those who perished. According to the summary posted by Moviefone, "The first half of Season Seven sees our group fractured, broken, bereaved, and picking up the pieces while living under the thumb of oppression." The synopsis also revealed that other characters that had strayed from the team will have to start over again.

Clearly, the first half of the season will be focused on rebuilding and starting afresh after tragic events have led them in the situation that they are currently in. Such events will change every single character either from strength to weakness or vice versa and no other member of the Alexandria team will be affected more than Rick (Andrew Lincoln).

Ross Marquand, the actor who plays Aaron, revealed in an interview the effect of Negan's brutality to Rick. The good news is, everyone now knows that Rick isn't the one who died in the season finale. The bad news, the team's leader will be totally broken that he becomes emasculated.

Marquand, according to INQUISTR, said "I think it's the complete emasculation of Rick and you get to see a huge power shift in the group. What you'll see is that the entire way their society has been structured, the power and the leadership roles, will now be completely thrown on their head."

With Rick feeling impotent, someone else will have to step in to keep the team together. Find out who the new leader will be and who died when "The Walking Dead" season 7 returns to AMC on Oct. 23.
