Is Justin Bieber eying Pamela Anderson after his split from model Sofia Richie earlier this month?

According to a report by Star magazine, Bieber, 22, has a thing for older women and after striking up a romance with 37-year-old Keeping Up With the Kardashians star Kourtney Kardashian last year, he is reportedly ready to pursue Anderson, 49.

“Justin has had a thing for older women ever since he hooked up with Kourtney Kardashian. He met Pam at the Grammys back in February but only recently started texting her, and when Justin wants a girl he pursues her hard,” the magazine's source alleged, according to a report by Gossip Cop on Wednesday.

Anderson was at first “really freaked out” when Bieber touched base with her because “her son is only a few years younger than Justin,” the source continued, "but she’s always been a sucker for a smooth-talking star, plus she thinks he could help boost her career.”

In response to the story, a source told Gossip Cop the claims were “false.”

Bieber began dating Richie in early August but after just weeks of dating, they called it quits.

"They were never officially together, but more casual hanging out and having fun," a source told E! News. "It was super-hot and heavy, and because Justin doesn't want a relationship right now, he wanted to cool things down... it wasn't an intentional cool-off... [it] just sort of happened on its own."

"They are still friends though and will continue to see each other like they did before they were dating," another insider shared. "They are taking a backseat though on the romance side of things and just focusing on being friends at this time."
