Beyonce stunned the crowd at the 2013 MET Gala in New York City on Monday when she arrived on the red carpet in a floor-sweeping Givenchy gown.

The mother-of-one wore a flame-motif Givenchy gown that had black, yellow and orange detailing. She paired the look with long black gloves and showed ample cleavage in the strapless number. She posed the red carpet without her husband Jay-Z, giving her dress at the attention.

Among the stars arriving on the red carpet is Alicia Keys wearing Jason Wu, Katy Perry in Dolce and Gabbana, Blake Lively in Gucci, Anne Hathaway in Valentino, Jennifer Lawrence in Dior, Gwyneth Paltrow in Valentino, Kerry Washington in Vera Wang, Kim Kardashian in Givenchy, Taylor Swift in J Mendel, Miley Cyrus in Marc Jacobs and Nicki Minaj in Tommy Hilfiger. 

The theme of this year's event is Punk: Chaos to Couture. The spring 2013 exhibition will be on view to the public from May 9 through Aug.14, 2013. The exhibit will examine punk's impact on high fashion from the movement's birth in the 1970s through its current influence. 

At the 2012 event, Beyonce's wore a see-through lace Givenchy number that had a black and purple feathered train. See photos here.
