They both have loved ones who are being held by the escaped convicts, but John (Drake Hogestyn) and Steve (Stephen Nichols) will do everything they can to rescue Claire (Olivia Keegan) and Joey (James Lastovic) before it's too late on Days of Our Lives.

The two teens are being used as hostages until Orpheus (George Del Hoyo), Clyde (James Read) and Xander (Paul Telfer) are given the money to requested to get themselves out of town safely. No one is going to willingly give them the ransom money however, which puts the teens in danger, and after the press conference at the square became chaos when Clyde opened fire and wound up hitting Abe (James Reynolds) in the chest, it became even more imperative that they come up with a solid plan.

The original plan was to use the panic button John had put into a necklace for Claire to wear in case anything happened to her, but the footage the men showed of her as a hostage didn't show her wearing anything around her neck. In reality she and Joey did have it, and were waiting for the right time to push the button. They finally did and the alert went through to John's phone which would tell him where they were located-but it didn't go to his phone until after it got dropped during the chaos at the square.

Now, if he doesn't see the alert, he and Steve may need to come up with a plan B to find the teens, but if he does, they will then know where they're located. But it won't be enough to know where the teens are, as they need to have a fool proof plan to extract them from the warehouse they're being held in, without getting them, or themselves hurt. Both Steve and John have already survived gunshot wounds inflicted by Orpheus, but they don't want to risk that their kids get hit with the bullets instead. Now, they will need to figure out how best to get the kids saved, before they run out of time.

Days of Our Lives airs Monday-Friday at 1 p.m. on NBC.
