Tesla Model 3 EV News: Details about Car’s Features and Release Date

Tesla Model 3 EV is yet to be released but numerous consumers have already pre-ordered the car model. Just what exactly are the features of this vehicle and when is it officially available?

Tesla Model 3 EV already has more than $10 billion total of pre-orders, even when the model's production date is not until Jul. 1, 2017, almost a year from now. Consequently, the distribution of the manufactured Tesla cars will start before the end of the year 2017, Opp Trends reported.

On the other hand, the expected release date in Asia may differ from that in North America. Sources said that it is quite possible that the car company would have an earlier release date in Asia for the Model 3 EV. Right now, Tesla is looking into farming out the production of the cars given the fact that there are thousands of pre-orders lined up. If the plan to outsource in China pushes through, the brand may just have the model's release date in Asia earlier than in the US.

Just why are people clamoring for the Tesla Model 3 EV? What are the specifications for this car that sets it apart from other vehicles already out there?

As said by Science World Report, the Model 3's battery pack will be denser than the previous one but will have the same technology applied to the ultra-quick P100D variant. In addition, the cooling system of this new battery is meticulously updated.

The car's interior also receives an update. From the integrated tablet feature in the Tesla Model S, this new model will use a floating screen instead. There are also rumors claiming that Model 3 is boosted with a state-of-the-art display screen that will indicate the EV speed, battery charge, and navigation info.

As per the seats, those found in the rear part of the Tesla Model 3 EV can be folded flat that turns the car cabin into a tent. This feature is dubbed as the Camper Mode.

Apart from the new features, the Model 3 EV will also have similar specs found in its predecessor. With that said, the combination of the old and new features makes this upcoming Tesla car even more appealing to the masses.
