Ryan Dunn tragically died in a car crash five years ago, but days ago, his Twitter account suddenly began sharing new tweets with fans.

According to a report on Saturday, the Jackass star's account posted bizarre messages to his account and now, his family's is on a mission to stop the "disgusting" hackers as soon as possible.

"The tweets started posting a few days ago and were written as if it were Ryan from beyond the grave. One of them joked Ryan had met Harambe the gorilla in heaven -- and another references Tupac," TMZ revealed to readers.

Speaking to the outlet, Dunn's mom, Linda, confirmed that the messages were not coming from any of the deceased reality star's friends or family and said she had no clue how someone managed to hack his account, which had been left online after his death. Although Linda had reached out to Twitter prior to speaking to TMZ, she had not yet received a response at the time of their publication. Since then, the tweets appear to have been removed from Dunn's account.

As Jackass fans will recall, Dunn died in 2011 after plowing his Porsche into a tree at 130 mph following a night of "'heavy drinking." After his passing, a number of his co-stars spoke out with kind words, including Steve-O and Bam Margera, who went to the site of his crash shortly after it occurred.
