Kim Kardashian West was held at gunpoint on Sunday inside her private apartment in Paris.

Kardashian West was staying at an apartment in a private mansion called the Hotel de Pourtales in Paris when five men forcefully entered the building, threatening the concierge to open the reality star's apartment. Two men entered the apartment at which point one of them held a gun to her head, according to the French Interior Ministry (via CNN).

Ina Treciokas, Kardashian West's spokesperson, confirmed the news and revealed her condition: "Kim Kardashian West was held up at gunpoint inside her Paris hotel room this evening by two armed masked men dressed as police officers. She is badly shaken but physically unharmed."

The men stole two cell phones and a ring estimated at $4 million and jewelry worth almost $5.6 million. Kardashian West has apparently left France. It's not known if Kardashian West's children, 3-year-old North and 10-month-old Saint, were there with her at the time of the incident.

Kardashian West's husband, Kanye West, had to stop his show at the Meadows Festival in New York, telling the crowd that there had been a "family emergency." This received mixed reactions from the audience and caused rampant speculation on social media about what this might mean.

Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo took to Twitter on Monday to openly condemn the robbery saying Kardashian West "will always be welcome in Paris."

This robbery comes after another shocking incident for Kardashian West in Paris. A famous prankster tried to kiss her behind as she was getting out of a car, but her security team dealt with the man before anything could happen.
