"The Blacklist" season 4, episode 3 will have Liz and company continue the search for her missing daughter, Agnes. Meanwhile, Mr. Kaplan struggles to stay alive after Red shot her in the last episode.

NBC has released "The Blacklist" season 4, episode 3 synopsis entitled "Miles McGrath." The summary posted by Carter Matt reveals that Red (James Spader) and the FBI Task Force will do everything it takes to find Agnes. They will hunt down one of Alexander Kirk's (Ulrich Thomsen) allies, Miles McGrath (Tate Ellington), in the hopes to find out Kirk's whereabouts.

The synopsis also promises that Liz (Megan Boone) will find out more about her family. In the previous episode, Liz remembered a certain memory she had as a child in the Summer Palace, the home where Kirk took her. In the flashback, Liz's mother was shown talking to a young Liz. They buried a tin can with some of their belongings, including the mom's bracelet, which by the end of the episode Liz was already wearing.

The flashback clearly displayed the kind of relationship Liz had with her mom. However, fans still need to be provided with a Liz memory that includes Alexander in it. Such memory will at least give points to Kirk's claims that he is indeed Liz's dad. Will viewers finally see such flashback in the next episode?

Meanwhile, this new season of "The Blacklist" is picking up more momentum with regard to the Mr. Kaplan (Susan Bommaert) angle. The previous episode ended with Red shooting Mr. Kaplan and leaving her for dead. However, in the promo posted on YouTube, viewers will find that Red's Cleaner did not exactly die from the shot and is struggling to stay alive.

This leaves one wondering whether Red's once ally will become his worst nightmare or will she stay loyal to the man who tried to silence her. Right now, if Kaplan chooses to take revenge, her best bet is to form an alliance with Kirk. Will she?

Find out what will happen in the "Blacklist" season 4, episode 3 on Oct. 6 on NBC.
