The second debate between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump has come and gone, and a town hall style format did not keep either one from lessening the punches they tried to level against their opponent from happening.

Perhaps even more so than the first debate-which has seen some big hits against Trump, with the release of one of his tax returns as well as the leak of a tape where he sexually degraded women and appeared to brag about sexually assaulting them-the gloves came off, and neither Clinton or Trump failed to find comments that they hoped would crush some of the conception about the other one.

Clinton especially got off more than a few good comments, as she continued attacking Trump for some of the same issues she's brought up before, addressed the recently leaked tape, and even took a higher road when Trump tried to denounce her.

Here are her five best quotes from the night:

On Donald Trump's Tax Plan in light of some revelations that have come out with the release of one of his returns:

"Donald Trump lives in an alternate reality. Donald always take care of Donald, and people like Donald. Trump's Tax Plan would give wealthy corporations the biggest tax cut they've ever had."

On the Birtherism Movement when he continually insisted that President Obama was not born in the United States:

"He owes the President an apology. He owes our country an apology."

On the recently released tape:

"I spent the past 48 hours thinking about the tape. I have been saying since June, that Donald Trump is not fit to be our president. It is clear to anyone who heard it that the taoe is exactly who he is."

Quoting Michelle Obama after Trump tried to claim her husband Bill Clinton's own past was far worse than what he said:

"When they go low, you go high."

On having one positive thing to say about her opponent at the debate's close:

"I respect his children. His children are incredibly able and devoted, and I think that says a lot about Donald."
