It is definitely a whole new world for Aladdin and genie as they will come to life, much like thinking out of the box for this time. Not only was genie being given a chance to get out from the lamp, but Walt Disney Studios has decided to give Aladdin his live-action movie. This is another much-awaited film, following its fellow live-action movies like Cinderella, The Jungle Book, Pete's Dragon, Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King and Mulan.

The 1992 animated film of Aladdin is a Middle-Eastern folk tale of a boy with his magical lamp and a genie trapped inside ready to grant all his three wishes along with his flying carpet. But the film itself was a success for being the highest grossing film of the year and has garnered awards for Best Original Score and Best Original song for the "A Whole New World" and with five times nominations from different categories. COMINGSOON has confirmed on their reports that Guy Ritchie will direct the movie, and will approach the film in a non-linear presentation.

Guy Ritchie has been the director for franchisees of The Sherlock Holmes, The man from U.N.C.L.E and legends as with his recent King Arthur. CINEMABLEND has already categorized Ritchie for doing "period-centric bro adventures", which is most likely very far from Aladdin's middle-eastern character.

Although the musical elements will remain when John August do the screenplay, it will be a "whole new world" for Director Guy Ritchie as he is not into these types even though the movie will take a "non-traditional" approach. This will be a big switch from his usual crime thrillers and gangster flicks which already got a few speculations from viewers can just hope for the best on this unexpected casting.

There is no specific date for the movie premier but hopefully, it will still take on the beauty and wondrous film it had been before.
