After MTV star Farrah Abraham admitted that the only time she had sex this year was during her now famous porn tape, the actress revealed the real reason why she decided to film the private footage. 

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Abraham talked about her tape BackDoor Teen Mom and said she hoped that her porn would boost her self esteem. 

"A lot of my girlfriends who are back home ... have done personal sexy shots, sexual videos ... feminine things showing their sexuality and being happy for themselves," Abraham said. "Here I am the same age or younger as most of my friends, and I'm like 'why am I not [as] happy with myself as they are? Why am I not doing this for me?"

When Abraham expressed her interest in filming a porn, her friends boosted her confidence and persuaded her to hire a professional.  Abraham came across porn star James Deen and said that she even paid him money for his work in the film. With Deen's help, Abraham said the porn star started telling people that he did a tape with the MTV star. 

"What ended up happening was James Deen, who is in my video...thought it was ok ...[to say to] the public 'I did something with Farrah' but he did it in his own way of saying 'I made a porn with her' ... [and] made it his own thing and that's why I was like, 'Let me be one step ahead and let me gain control of my own video again," Abraham  said.

Since Abraham's video debuted on Monday, she's been receiving stellar reviews. Enstars reported earlier that porn surpassed Kim Kardashian record by attracting 2 million viewers in 12 hours. 

"I've gotten a lot of compliments from men and women telling me this is the best sex tape they've ever seen from a celebrity, so I'm humbled," Farrah told RadarOnline.com.
