American Idol's Top 3 episode on Wednesday had one contestant sing a song so well it made judge Mariah Carey cry "yet again."

Candicer Glove performed the classic song Somewhere and her performance was so well-received she earned the night's only standing ovation and was told she had one of the "greatest vocals in Idol history."

Glover's powerful rendition of Somewhere led Idol judge Keith Urban to yell, "Oh my goodness. What was that?! What happened?! How do you do that?!

"If you want to vote for Candice dial the number on your screen," he added. "If you don't want to vote for Candice, call your doctor, you probably don't have a pulse."

Nicki Minaj said only four words; "See ya next week!"

Randy Jackson, the show's original judge since season 1, said Glover "had one of the greatest vocals in Idol history."

"Guess what - she's got another one! You have grown on this show..This is like a singing lesson..." he added. "Oh my god, I'm so proud of you."

Mariah Carey screamed, "Congratulations! I am so proud of you.. you've shown that you could sing any type of song, any day of the week. Amazing!"

Carey then shared why the choice of song was so emotional for her: "Thank you for singing that, that was my parents use to sing.... Thank you for making cry... yet again."

Idol's Top 3 - Glover, Kree Harrison and Angie Miller - performed three songs each following a visit to their hometown over the weekend. One song was picked by Jimmy Lovine, one song was selected a judges and the third was chosen by the show's production team.

Harrison sang Perfect by Pink, which was chosen by Lovine, but it left the judges not impressed.

"You sang it good but it didn't have a lot pizzazz for me," Jackson said.

She also sang Racal Flatt's Here Comes Goodbye and The Band Perry's Better Dig Two.

Miller performed Elton John's Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word, which was chosen by Lovine. The judges picked Pink's Try and Emelie Sande's Maybe was selected by the production team.
