Jeremy Vuolo's proposal to Jinger Duggar finally aired in the latest episode of the reality show "Counting On" season 2. The Duggar lady looked truly surprised.

For months now, the quick engagement of Jeremy and Jinger has been the talk of the town. However, no one except the people involved knew what exactly happened during the proposal.

This has changed, though, when "Counting On" season 2 by TLC finally broadcasted the highly publicized proposal. This season of the reality show had been all about the building the anticipation from when Vuolo and Duggar started dating to the much awaited engagement.

Every time the viewers tune in to the show, they would hope that the momentous occasion would finally be aired. TLC, at last, showed Jeremy getting down on one knee in Tuesday's episode of the Duggar family spin off show.

Everyone already knows that the proposal happened on a New York City rooftop. But what transpired just before, during and immediately after the event is what makes the fans more curious.

In the episode, the 29-year-old pastor got down on one knee at the Big Apple venue, after weather problems almost caused the cancellation of the proposal. Mail Online reported that Vuolo prayed so that the raining would stop and he could push through with the plan.

Just as they believed, God answered Jeremy's prayers and the former professional soccer player was able to achieve his plan to propose to Jinger. As Jeremy took a knee, a religious music was being played by a duo of cellist and guitarist.

Through all the ordeal, the 23-year-old Duggar was so surprised she was heard saying, "You shocked me... I had no clue... I thought it would be at least another month and a half."

Given this statement by Jinger, she already knew that Jeremy was proposing but did not know exactly when. Regardless, Jinger still looked surprisingly shocked. Right after the proposal, the couple posed for some engagement pictures then they were joined by Jessa Duggar, her husband Ben, and their mother, Michelle.
