Teen Mom star Amber Portwood is to be released from jail today after serving two months for drug possession.

But law enforcement sources tell TMZ the only reason the reality star is going free is that the halfway house in which she was supposed to receive drug rehab has denied her entry.

According to TMZ, the staff at Sister 2 Sister Ministries felt Portwood is "too much of a handful and embodies too much negative energy to benefit from its program."

The Indiana judge handling her case is releasing Portwood with an ankle monitor and expects her to apply to other rehab residences, a process that could take months. She's required to remain under house arrest until she finds a program to attend.
