When it comes to advertising or announcing a new product, most companies can spend a lot of their time and budget into getting the message inside the minds of their customers. Even if the companies are large scaled and successful, it would still take some time and effort, but not for Rockstar Games.

Two days ago Rockstar tweeted a picture of their logo covered in red paint. At this point most people were excited but curious as to knowing what that truly meant. Then a day later they put up a new red-related picture which drove twitter wild.

These two tweets have been marked the Red tweets by Geek Journal. They represent the upcoming of a new highly awaited part of a previously famous game series.

Ars Technica fully reported this situation and claim that the pictures are most likely related to a game called Red Dead Redemption. This game is featured in the setting of an old wild west style and the second Red tweet certainly covers that topic.

However, the shocking bit to news reporters all over the internet is not the fact that Rockstar is releasing a new game. It is the fact that they managed to get excitement across hundreds of thousnands of people using just two pictures on twitter.

That is one of the most simplistic and most subtle way I have personally seen someone generate hype and excitement. In fact, as of right now both the tweets are over 200,000 Favorites and well over 100,000 Retweets.

Of course, a lot of this excitement is also due to the fact that the Red Dead game series have been quite a famous and successful game series selling millions and millions of copies worldwide and so one can understand how two pictures can get everyone excited.

Fans now anxiously wait all over the world to get more information about when the new game will be released.
