With Rockstar Games' thrilling masterpiece Grand Theft Auto 5 being released about 3 years past, gamers are now highly anticipated to check out the next version of this tremendous GTA flagship. However, after the company has made their next stunner Red Dead Redemption 2 to be released in fall 2017. Gamers  can rest assure for a long wait in case of Grand Theft VI's official revelation.

As per Rockstar Games' popular legacy, it maintains  a prime gap of nearly four to five years before releasing a new version of any of its seed games. For instance, it can be taken evidently as GTA IV was released in 2008 while its successor saw the lights of day in 2013. So, obviously, this can be added up as a primary resolution that the company would release its next version of Grand Theft Auto in 2018.

The company also seems to bring out many updates and patches of the games it reveals in each and every year. Within the three years since its release in 2013, GTA V has also been enriched with an ample number of upgrades and additions. Even GTA online is regarded as one of the most approached games portal by Gaming geeks. According to a report by Wired, it is the seventh most-played game on PC, with 35,546 registered players from different countries  

Recently we have witnessed that Rockstar Games is getting ready to bring out Red Dead Redemption 2 in the upcoming year. As for its official announcement through its trailer which was released just a few days before, the company seems to be all set to bring out its  upcoming stunner namely Red Dead Redemption 2 in the fall of 2017. Gaming champs can now easily expect a prolonged delay of around 3 to 5 years for GTA  6 to be unveiled in the market. And as for its valued tradition, Rockstar Games is expected to develop a lot of tools and extensions for its 2017 scheduled wonder within the next two or three years.

According to a hint by Expert Reviews, the developers' team of Rockstar Games have already started working on GTA 6. However, as far as the plot of the upcoming game is concerned, Rockstars' spokesperson Dan Houser has already denied its chance of getting a high pitched London-based settings. As the company has always been  extra protective with its traditional pathways, it is highly expected to get a set up of a US location only as it got in previous GTA 5, with Los Angeles as its plot setting.

Although, hints and rumors suggest its release, not before 2020. Still, it can not be confirmed if it has any chance of being unveiled in 2018. However, Gaming geeks have to wait for an official announcement from the maker's end to know further about its exact release date.
