In a surprising move that shows they may be watching the polls which show Hillary Clinton with a lead that indicates she would win the election if it were being hild today, Donald Trump's campaign manager has admitted that they do realize that he is behind in the polls.

Kellyanne Conway admitted that Trump is behind Clinton in the polls while on NBC"s Meet the Press on Sunday, blaming Clinton's increased ad spending for the downward trend against the GOP candidate, and saying her ads are direct attacks on her opponent which are coloring voter opinions.

"We are behind. [Clinton] has some advantages, like $66 million in ad buys just in the month of September, thereby doubling her ad buys from August," she said. "Now, most of those ads are negative against Donald Trump-classic politics of personal destruction, cesspool kind of acts. And she has tremendous advantages: She has a former president, who happens to be her husband, campaigning for her. The cirrent president and first lady, vice president, all much more popular than she can hope to be."

She also said that while out on the trail, it doesn't seem like Trump is all that behind, since support for him is still very strong at his rallies.

"Let me tell you something: You go out on the road with Donald Trump, this election doesn't feel over," she said on a separate appearance on CNN's State of the Union.

She also discussed Trump's stop in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, on Saturday, where he was expected to make a speech which actually outlined some of the policies he plans to enact if he wins the Presidency, but began with anothet denial about the increasing claims of sexual misconduct against him, where he also swore he would sue all of his accusers after the election is over. When asked about it, Conway said that since he was a candidate for President, he could say what he wanted at his own rallies.

"Well, he delivers his own speeches. This is his candidacy. He's the guy who is running for the White House, and he has the privilege to say what he wants," she said.
