There still hasn't been any word on when CBS will be finally putting Season 29 of The Amazing Race on the air, but at least there are some things fans do know about the show's (hopefully) upcoming season.

Because CBS has not made an announcement about the show's status or when the season will air, other aspects of the season-like the identities of the cast-have not been confirmed, and no promos have been released either. However, some information has been revealed and trickled out over time. Here's everything we know about the season:

The Teams Will Be Different From Ever Before:

It has been revealed that the teams will all not have pre-existing relationships for the first time. The show tried a similar approach in season 26 with half the teams being out on blind dates. This time around, all of the teams will start as single racers, with teams being selected after they all complete the first task.

The Show Will Be Visiting Some New Locations

The show will be taking the teams (and viewers) to some locations that have never been seen before in its previous 28 seasons. While some locations like Hanoi Vietnam, Seoul South Korea, Panama City Panama, Sao Paulo Brazil, Athens Greece, and Venice Italy have been seen before, most have not been featured in a long time, with Hanoi the most recently visited place, back in season 22. Per Reality Fan Forum, the show will visit Dar es Salaam Tanzania, Alesund Norway, Lake Como italy and Ninh Binh Vietnam for the first time.

Phil Keoghan Doesn't Know When The Season Will Air

Unfortunately for fans who were hoping the show's host could give them the answers they seek, Keoghan seems to be as in the dark as everyone else when it comes to Season 29 getting an air date on CBS.
