The upcoming special edition of the smashing "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim"  has already made ample amount of stimulations among the gaming geeks and the console lovers. Now just days before its unveiling, the creator of this incredible product Bethesda has now uncovered another important insight about its features. The special edition is lined up for a release on forthcoming October 28th, 2016.

According to a report by GameSpot, the developer of this upcoming stunner even clarified that the mods content will have only a sheer 1 GB space for its operation on PS4, while on Xbox One it will have a mere 5 GB space. The discrepancy on dedicating space seems to be continued from the advent of Fallout 4, for which the company allows a 2 GB space on Xbox One and, when the feature debuts, it will have a 900 MB space provided on PS4

After the information was revealed, many gaming geeks are now even considering this 1GB allotment as a quite enough for the PS4 version of Skyrim. They have now even started to believe that the game won't be allowing mods which imply external assets. As Eurogamer briefs, there will be no instance of Thomas the Tank Engine dragons will be seen in this special edition positively.

Despite the new feature, the gamers might only have to make out with assets already available in the game. These indicate that the mod objects will be too small, probably sometimes lesser than a single megabyte, as they mostly consist of new text while the core assets are already installed. In this sense, it's more like a level editor with the ability to add questlines and dialogue rather than the sort of game-changing mods people are used to on PC.

While clarifying about this prolonged delay and this mismatch all along, Bethesda stated that Sony, the creator of PS4, was actually debarring them from externalizing mod support for Fallout 4 and the Skyrim Special Edition on their gaming platform. However, the negotiation done deliberately with intentions to insert the mods has come down to this conclusion as mentioned above.
