Microsoft lines up Surface Pro 5 for a 2017 release [VIDEO]

Microsoft was previously speculated to reveal its upcoming masterpiece, Surface Pro 5, on its superlative October Launch event. But as the event held on October 26th, 2016, the viewers didn't witness any instance of the same device. The device is now expected to launch by late 2017.

The update is highly hinted to have its official debut by Spring 2017. According to many tech experts, Surface Pro  will see this update just out of the box. So, this can be a potential reason why the device is seeing such a delay in its official uncovering.

Another accountable cause which can be taken as a valid term, in this case, is Intel's upcoming next-generation Kaby Lake chipset which is yet to be released officially. However, the chipset is speculated to enter the market, not before the end of the last quarter of 2016 or in the early phase of 2017. Therefore, Surface Pro 5 is expected to launch not before the first quarter of 2017. According to a primary report, the device is speculated to sport a high-end display of 4K resolution.
