Warning: If you did not watch the season 7 premiere of The Walking Dead do not proceed

His character was handed a brutal death at the hands of Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), his barbed wire baseball bat Lucille, and a cruel game of "Eenie Meenie Miney Mo," but Michael Cudlitz is pretty sure there will eventually be justice for Abraham (and Glenn-Steven Yuen-too) on The Walking Dead.

Following the big reveal, Cudlitz appeared on CBS' The Talk to discuss the shocker, which took months to be revealed, and he launched a theory for just who would be able to finally take down the biggest villain the show has seen thus far.

"I think the women should take care of it," Cudlitz told the show's co-hosts. "Our strong, intelligent, talented, capable women should slowly take care of Negan."

The women on the show who could potentially take care of the villain are all ones who would absolutely have motives. Of the ones remaining, Maggie (Lauren Cohan), Rosita (Christian Serratos), Michonne (Danai Gurira) and Sasha (Sonequa Martin-Green) were there as Negan bashed in Abraham and Glenn's heads. Of those four, three of them had romantic links to the men who were killed.

Rosita and Abraham had just had a cruel breakup only a few episodes before his death, and while she hadn't been feeling kindly to him because of it, watching him die was a devastating blow for her, because he had meant so much to her in the past. Similarly, Sasha was Abraham's current love, and the two were planning on a future together, something she truly needed after being forced to say goodbye to both her former boyfriend, Bob, and her brother Tyrese, in the past. The two would theoretically be able to team up in an effort to take down the man who took Abraham from them.

Maggie meanwhile, already seemed intent on it during the finale episode, after the group was left to handle Abraham and Glenn's corpses. Pregnant with Glenn's baby, and also the victim of senseless tragedy after losing loved ones at the farm, witnessing her father Hershel's head being chopped off by The Governor, and realizing her sister, Beth, had died from a gunshot wound to the head during the attempt to rescue her from a hospital, Maggie has finally had enough, and will likely work out a plan to avenge the death of the love of her life.

The Walking Dead airs Sundays at 9 p.m. on AMC.
